Receiving positive public response coupled with a strong following for their franchise of local historical newspapers named Historic Publications, publishers Fred and Justine DeBono are now expanding on their successful endeavor. Regionalized to within Charlotte and Sarasota County and their surroundings, Historic Publications became popular as complimentary
periodicals containing interesting, yet historically accurate stories of local areas such as Port Charlotte, Venice, Englewood and Sarasota, to name only a few locates. As a result of the popularity of their
achievement, the DeBono’s are branching out to encompass the history of the entire State of Florida with
The Floridian Magazine.
Differing somewhat from Historic Publications, The Floridian is a chronological account of the intriguing history of the state. Commencing with the origins of Florida’s existence, each issue is a continuation of the previous, chronicling the vivid story of Florida’s annals from the beginning, eventually to modern history, and then to the present day.
Covering the whole state, The Floridian is a comprehensive account of the colorful people of Florida, and the vibrant places in which they lived.
